Opportunities to Serve
Counters: Every Sunday we open all offering envelopes from four worship services, plus revenues received during the week from school and other sources.
The counters assure proper and accurate record keeping and are accountable to the congregation and church leaders for the gifts received in support of the church.
Each week an assigned count team of three to four people will record all receipts into the Shepherd Staff database and make deposit to the bank.
Facilities (maintenance, construction)
Spiritual Gifts: Help people discover what spiritual gifts they have been blessed with and how to best use them in service to the Lord.
Enable people to be more effective volunteers and find increased enjoyment and meaning in their lives as they use and share their gifts in support of the church and community.
We use a Spiritual Gifts Discovery survey and questionnaire to gather data and then enter it in our church database so it can then be shared as volunteer needs for certain skills and talents present themselves.
Sanctuary Support (chair pockets, custodial and setup, and signage)
Long-range Planning: Plan for future activities and resources likely to enhance congregational mission objectives. Improve organizational performance by evaluating current activities and programs to identify unmet needs and areas for improvement.
Develop a plan to facilitate those improvements
