Join us every Thursday at noon in Grace Hall for a study of the Old Testament book Nehemiah led by Pastor Sam.

On Sundays at 9:35am in Grace Hall, we will examine the Gospel of Matthew with Pastor Tom.

Christ Care Groups

Christ Care Groups of 10-15 people meet regularly for Bible study, prayer and worship, and missional service, living out Christ’s love for one another.

J.O.Y. (Just Older Youth)

JOY meets the first Friday of each month in Grace Hall, October through May. Entertainment begins at 11:00am; lunch is served at noon. Members of Ascension are welcome to attend for fun and fellowship.

 

Youth Groups

Ascension seeks to assist young adults as they grow in their relationship with Jesus, develop lasting friendships with other believers, and serve the Church and community with Christ’s love. High schoolers meet in the ROC on Mondays, 6:30-9:00pm. Middle schoolers meet on Tuesdays, 6:30-8:30pm, in the ROC. For more information, contact Tonya Stein, Youth Director.

Senior MomentsSenior Moments, meets every Monday afternoon in Grace Hall to play games, including bridge, dominos, and Skip Bo. Snacks and drinks are provided.

Sunday School/Confirmation

We are passionate about partnering with parents to help children and youth deepen their faith and trust in Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Using a Bible based curriculum, our Sunday School and Confirmation classes for ages 3-grade 8 are held Sunday mornings from 9:35-10:20 a.m. during the school year, beginning September 10.

 
Adult Bible StudiesPastor Tom leads a Bible study every Thursday noon in Grace Hall. On Sunday mornings from 9:35-10:20, Pastor Gerry leads a study on the Gospel of John in Grace Hall. Pastor John leads a Bible study at Coco’s Restaurant at 8am on Thursdays beginning Nov. 11th. See the church calendar for updates on all schedules.
