Saturdays at 5:00pm
Sundays at 8:30am & 10:31am
Services at Ascension are 60 minutes in length with Holy Communion served at each service. The Saturday 5:00pm service and the Sunday 8:30am service are traditional, using Lutheran hymns. The 10:31 service on Sunday morning is contemporary, using modern Christian music presented by our Ten31 Band. Children are encouraged to attend worship with their parents. A parent’s sitting room is available near the worship area.
Sunday School, Confirmation Classes, and Adult Bible Study: Sundays at 9:35am.
Because the next generation of believers is important to us at Ascension, we are passionate about partnering with parents to help children and youth deepen their faith and trust in Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Using a Bible based curriculum, our Sunday School and Confirmation classes for ages 3-grade 8, are held Sunday mornings from 9:35am-10:20am, beginning September 10, 2023. Pastor Tom leads a Bible study in Grace Hall on Sundays at 9:35am, August-June. Please see the Church Calendar for updated scheduling.
What to Expect
Worship is a time to gather with other believers in Christ to praise the Lord for His grace in sending Jesus to be our Savior!
God’s Word is our power source! Praising the Lord for His grace and love in Jesus, building caring relationships through Christ, and serving others are all empowered by the Word of God itself.
There is great joy in knowing Jesus’ love for us! In response, our goal is to serve others so that they see God’s love and grace shining in our lives.

Directions
Ascension Lutheran Church & School is located near the corner of Magee and La Canada in Tucson, AZ. Use the front parking lot for entry to all staff offices and the school. For worship, Bible study, and fellowship activities, please park in the side and back parking lots as the worship center and Grace Hall are located on the back side of the property.
